Chandigarh Group of Colleges, CGC Landran has become a synonym to excellence. Situated on the National Highway 205A, Chandigarh Group of Colleges bespeaks A-class educational facilities. CGC, Landran has come a long way in the field of education. In the year 2001, it got incepted with a hope to bridge the gap between inquisitive minds and education. The college is popularly known as CGC Landran.

Initially, Engineering was the flagship program at CGC, Landran and with time, more & more programs got added to the curriculum. Currently, the college offers more than 40 programs under seven domains namely Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Application, Management, Education, Pharmacy and Hotel Management. There are courses cutting across various streams.

Under the aegis of CGC, Landran, new-wave pedagogy, 360-Degree training, international exposure and industry-academia interface have been methodically interwoven, to provide a comprehensive overlook of the respective industries. With the provision of remarkable infrastructure, ultra-modern laboratories, accompanied by practical strategies, the college has managed to reform the ways of modern education.

Point to remember

There is an important point to remember there will be no fee charging from students of SC/ST categories of Punjab and Chandigarh if their family income from all sources is less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per annum. SC/ST students of other states are reimbursed for their fees through the respective State Government All these students have to pay the fee and can apply for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of the Government through Registrar Office of the College.

There are four types of procedures to apply for admission at CGC Landran. The first is online and the second is walk-in and third one is PTU and fourth one is LEET. The process under both these are explained below for the sake of the students:

Submit your original documents and five passport size photographs.
After an eligibility check and fee submission, your admission will be confirmed.

PTU Counseling

B.Tech admissions are carried out on the basis of JEE rank through online counseling conducted by PTU, Jalandhar.

LEET

Students can apply for PTU counseling on the basis of their Diploma marks. Students who wish to apply courses under lateral entry scheme can apply through this route.

Elibility criteria for courses at CGC Landran

The eligibility depends upon the type of the course the candidates wishes to apply. The courses offered here are at undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The qualification to apply for an undergraduate course is a pass in plus-two.

The same for applying for a postgraduate course is a pass in graduation in the relevant discipline. For certain other postgraduate courses, candidates who passed degree in an allied discipline may also be allowed. More information is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
